SNOW-HOTEL February 14, 2010 a great opening of the first Snow Hotel in Russia will take place. The hotel made out of 3000 m3 of snow and 500 m3 of ice will be built by 150 sculptors and architects on the territory of alpine complex “Malinovka” (south of the Arkhangelsk region). Sculptors and architects from all over the world will be united in common work during the first 2 weeks of February. The territory where the hotel will be built is geographically the center of the Russian taiga.
A TRIP TO THE PAST

The village Kimzha is situated on the steep banks of one of the biggest rivers in Arkhangelsk region – Mezen. This village can almost be called for the last Northern Russian village, which preserved the traditional look of wooden log houses of the 18-19th centuries in their authentic surroundings.
